Hello i am currently a junior in high school and I am in a engineering class. We have to write a paper on a specific engineering career. If there is any one who specializes in automotive or mechanical engineering and doesn't mind answering a few question. I have them posted here answer as much as you would like. Thank you

1. Please describe your engineering field?

2. What is your job title?

3. Please describe your particular job and duties.

4. What is your average week's work schedule? (Time in meetings, time on computers, etc)

5. Are you able to share any information about a project you are working on, or have worked on?

6. Starting with high school, describe chronologically your educational background and/or career path. What courses were the most helpful?

7. If you had it to do over, related to your career and/or education, would you do anything differently?

8. What advice would you give to me as someone interested in a career in engineering?

Hi, you see, writing isn't the best solution to explain to you but as a general idea it should be enough. answering ur quest.:

1. Marine & heavy industry

2. Mechanical engineer aka technician aka fitter aka general worker

3. Design the mechanical, hyraulic, mechanical structure system for offshore related products. Project management too.

4. 5 days/week, 8hrs/day (depend on work load) meeting? everytime your boss want it. computer? all the time.

5. Current: confidential, ly: Qatar Petroleum Wellhead Platform + other projects..

6. Diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Bachelor Degree in Mechanical engineering. go learn engineering maths and mechanical engineering design.

7. A business maybe.

8. If u aim for money, make sure u join a very reputable company with a lot of benefits. if u aim for easy going life, don't dump urself into core engineering job.

there is one quote: takeoff is optional, landing is mandatory..
