| Design of snap dome springs | |||

I want to design a sheet metal snap-dome spring (similar to the ones used in membrane switches). I want to get the force-deflection characteristics and the force at which they will snap through to reach a second stable shape (like the snap-through buckling of Belleville springs). I have not been able to find any matter on the design of such snap-dome springs. Also, any information on how to manufacture them would be of great help.
