Hi chiefs,

I have been asked to do a process feasibility for a nylon bush of 25mm OD and 19mm ID and Length is 35mm. Here we need to achieve +/- 25microns dimensional tolerance at OD and Runout tolerance of 20microns at OD.

Material we are going use for this product is 33% Glass filled nylon 66, from dupont.

I Spoke to my vendor he said it is not easy to achieve 20 microns rounout tolerance at OD. So please let me know Is this possible to achieve above mentioned tolerance and also let me know what is the minimum runout tolerance i can achieve for the above mentioned case.

Thanks in advance,

Vijay.G

I would call Dupont...they'll tell you or recommend another material.

In the meantime...buy some material and see what your vendor CAN hold.
