I have been writing programs for a laser and plasma cutter with a "computer program" called Bobcad for about six months now. Is there any trial or free machine simulator programs that I can run my code thru to simulate the program. Bobcad will only take an arrow and point to locations, no color change to show a cut entity. Need advice

Awhile back, when I was looking for a CAM program, I recieved a free trial from EdgeCAM. If I remember correctly, it had every function of the full blown software except no save capabilities.

This might work for you, just contact your local retailer. (that sounded kind of like a commercial didnt it? haha)

Try asking a friendly company having such a machine if they would be willing to run your program through their MasterCam or similar CAM interface.
