I'm doing a school project where i have to chose a profession that interests me. I'm thinking about being either an electronical or civil engineer, but i chose civil engineering for the report. I was wondering if i could interview any civil engineers for my report? If you guys wouldnt mind I have a few questions below.

1) What got you into engineering?
2) Where did you go to college?
3) What kind of courses did you have to take? Any website where i can get a list of the courses to get a civil engineering degree? (cant find one to save my life)
4) Do you spend a lot of time working with others?
5) What's your income (don't have to answer this one if you dont want to)
6) Do you spend more time working on a computer or out on a worksite?
7) Are you involved in the building process or do you mainly focus on planning?
8) Are the Green Bay Packers going to the superbowl?

1) I think it was Lego that got me into engineering. I have been building things ever since I can remember.
2) Louisiana State University and the University of New Orleans.
3) If you go to either www.lsu.edu or www.uno.edu or probably any other college's website, you will find a listing of required courses under each discipline's area. Look for the online catalogue which details the requirements for each major.
4) Most of my time is spent working with others. Collaboration is a necessity in engineering.
5) I won't give an exact figure, but the rent gets paid by Friday...
6) Most of the time is spent in the office, but I do go out about twice a month (sometimes more, sometimes less) to job sites.
7) I'm more focused on the building process, although I do some planning.
8) Nope. Especially if the Saints beat them! :-)
