I'm after some technical help. I'm trying to find a formula or method of calculating how much force is required on a carbon ring against a wear ring to achieve a seal if other parameters are known such as diameter of ring, width of sealing ring in contact with wear ring and speeds, etc. Can you help or point me in the right direction?
