I am currently carring out an experiment investigating the tensile, flexural and impact properties of prototypes produced on a ZCorp 3d printer.
This is my final year project,
Some of the results are well outside the 3 standard deviation limits so I excluded them for the calculation of my mean etc. Is there any equation for calculating how statistically significat these results are. My titor was talking about a statistal sample size calculation but was unable to find an equation.
Any help much apreciated
