On this web page /manufacturing_design.shtml, bottom left, there are about ten pages. Three of thoses pages are about how to calculate bend allowance for manufacturing sheet metal. BTW, many 3D CAD software systems offer sheet metal packages, which will create the sheet metal flat pattern for you. Solid Edge, Solid Works, and Proe.
