Hi,
I am looking for design ideas for a telescoping beam. The beam needs to extend at least two times its retracted length. I would like to operate it hydraulically. I would prefer it to have a power out and power in, but it would be acceptable to have gravity feed out with a power stroke in. The beam will extend at downward angle (45 degrees to vertical). The in stroke will need to pull about 1500 lbs. The extending beam will need to be self supporting plus a 300 lb weight end load.
