I am not an engineer and I have been trying to find the answer to this question. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a 2.5" cold rolled steel, round, solid bar that is 74" long. It is supported at both ends leaving an open span of 68". If I have a load that is one foot wide and centered, what is the max carrying capacity of this bar?

I would also like to know what the Elastic Limit would be.
