There are three profiles associated with the random vibration portion of this standard: vertical, transverse, and longitudinal. If the break points from the longitudinal test were replaced by those of the transverse test, would there be any difference? Its a customer requested application, but there does not seem to be any point to running this replacement test as opposed to the original. If anyone has any insight on this or other shake table knowledge, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
