2-axis torque

I'm trying to mathematically model my 2-axis hydraulic stabilization platform project.there are 2 hydraulic actuators providing torque with an arm but their axis' are perpendicular to each other.I can write the resultant torque by simple way but this is nonlinear. What would you prefer ?
