In the company that I work for, we want to produce spline teeth profile. Therefore we need to buy new equipment for spline teeth manufacturing. I assume that we can use broaching machine but I wonder if anyone has another suggestion of equipment for spline teeth machining process.
Best Regards,
Akverdi

Hi , splined shaft are made by lamination , the shaft is located between two dies and the this dies run one in each opostive direction , making the shaft to rotate and forming the profile.
As far as I know EX-CELL-O was or is a brand of such machines

see here
www.ex-cell-o(DOT)de/EX-CELL-O/englisch/e_produkte.htm

Of course I have nothing to be with the such firm.

for female splined hubs , broaching is the solution.

first it has to be clarified if it is an internal or external spline
In case it is an internal spline the methods of production
when in large quantities would be broaching , in case the spline diamter is large then maybe by a gear shaper
both processes require special toolings
In case of an external spline it can be hobbed on a hobbing machine or a spline milling machine which works like a hobbing machine but is normally horizontal
a special hob would have to be made to cut the spline
external splines can also be ground on a spline grinding machine
