Will galvanic corrosion occur if an aluminum grounding system were applied to a painted galvalume metal roofing system? The wire would most likely be uninsulated and the rods themselves would be exposed. The location of the roof is in a saltwater environment.

Galvanic corrosion is likely to occur since the environment is salt water, and remember that galvanic corrosion ocurrs when two dissimilar metals are in contact.
