Does anyone know where to find material properties of ASTM A306 Steel (Plates) -- Yield Stress, Tensile Strength, Young's Modulus, Fracture Toughness (K1c).

Thanks.

According to ASTM, the A306 standard was withdrawn and is not supported since 1975, replaced by A663/A663M-89(2000) Standard Specification for Steel Bars, Carbon, Merchant Quality, Mechanical Properties. This is probably why I cannot find specifics in any of my references.

Thanks for the info.

Can you please tell me about the properties of the replacement Steel A663/A663M-89, and what is the source of your information.

I'm guessing that you already know the obvious - ASTM A306 is a specification for this material and has all of that information in it.

I'm not at my office, so I don't have access to it right now - hopefully I can find it when I get there...
