Gear Specification and Drawing Question

I need to order some custom gears. The bore is the only change from the current gears, but I don't know what information to include in the specifications about the gear. The current gear is 1/2 circular pitch, 32 teeth.
OD 5.411
PD 5.093
PA 20 degree
involute
Checking on material needs now

What other information do I need to include? Is there a simplified drawing standard for gear representation? I think I remember seeing gears represented with Circular Pitch, Addendum, Dedendum and Maximum Depth circles, but I'm not positive.

Thanks in advance

Depending on the type of gear you need will dictate your drawing specification requirements. Circular Pitch, Addendum, Dedendum and Maximum Depth circles are some features you will need to specify. You can detail the gear on a drawing, and use toleranced dimensions to do this.

I feel the best way, is to create a chart and provide all of the gear specifications there. Additionally, you will need indicate the gear quality. This is normally done by giving a AGMA tolerance or quality number ( example: /gears/gear_toleances_fine_pitch.htm ).

We have some gear engineering and design information information on Engineers Edge here: /gear_menu.shtml . I believe EE should provide a engineering drawing specifications guide for common type of gears.
