Dear Friend you might having the dia of the shape you are going to use . so now go to any machine design data book you will get the value of modulus of rigidity for each material . as these are the only two unknowns which are required for calculating the bending moment. hopefully problem is solved ,if not feel free to discuss it out again. bye spgautam

thanx for reply actually i have to choose one material from (stainless steel, Titanium , Aluminium) for my construct, on the basis of bending moments and beam deflection values, so thats why i need values of bending moments and beam deflections for all three so that by comparing the values i can decide which material will be better for my construct. Because i have to use these materials in orthopiedics. thanx and again waiting for your reply Tanveer
