Dear Matin...

I'm sorry, I think I can't help you to find the efficiency... Bcoz we should have more details like temperature of the gas entering, gas leaving the boiler, temperature of water entering and steam going out. this is reqd bcoz we have to have enthalpy values and calorific values of the fuel i.e. heat in the exhaust gas etc...
If you find the answer please let me know. i'll try to get u the answer...

regards,
palani.

Dear Palani
I have the following data of a Water Tube boiler. Can u help me find the efficiency of the boiler with the help of following data.
Deaerator Pressure = 1.72kg/cm^2
Feed Water FlowRate = 9.4 Tons / hr
Feed Water Temperature = 129.31 deg C
Feed Water Pressure = 30.09kg/cm^2
Air Flowrate = 9388.5 m^3/hr
Fuel oil Pressure = 0.924 kg/cm^2
Fuel Oil Temperature = 81.96 deg C
Oil Flowrate = 107.2 kg/hr
Gas Flowrate = 372.6 m^3/hr
Fuel Gas Pressure = .503 kg/cm^2
Steam Make/Flowrate = 8.59 Tons/hr
Super Heater Pressure = 19.57 kg/cm^2
Drum Steam Pressure = 20.08 kg/cm^2
Super Heater Temperature = 266.93 deg C
Calorific Value of Fuel Oil is 18000 Btu/lb
Calorific Value of Gas is 1000 Btu/ft^3

Thanks in Advance

Regards,
Kamal
