i'm a final year mechanical engineering student at the university of the west indies and i'm doing research on the mechanical properties of HDPE pipe welds.

i've checked the ASTM standards at the university's library but i haven't come across the test i'm looking for. specifically, i'm looking for a tensile test for HDPE welded pipe using a tensometer.

at this point, i'm pretty sure that ASTM does not have this test (they have a lot of similar ones but not the one that i'm looking for). i searched for a bit now but to no avail, i just want to be sure that the test i want is not in the ASTM standards...before i make a fool of myself!!
