I am in need of engineering expertise as I am searching for alternative materials to be used in mfg hand held fanfold fans, you know the type originating in the far east...

Paper or silk is what is most commonly used, but I am wondering about the use of a more durable/robust material that can be fanfolded.

Any ideas? Thanks much.
