Hi all,

I am new to the HVAC design. I am using trace 700 for load calculations. I wanted to know how i can consider the porch in the calculation. The porch extends little farther from the walls. Do we have to consider the porch. There is a possibility of the porch limiting the heat gained by the walls. 

I am not sure how i can consider that in TRACE program. please, help me in this regard

Hi
you should consider the walls of the porch as an external wall cos they are imposed to the sun and external circumstances.
