How to find out the tolerence for the specific fit.
Example : For 50 mm shaft dia with g6 fit, What will be the upper & lower limits. Is there any specific formula ?

With warm regards,

The letter "g" refers to a lower limit tolerance variation. For 40 - 50 mm the limit would be -.009 for 50 - 60 mm the limit would be -.010 .

I do not believe tolerance grades are based on a formulae.  Tolerance grades are based on experiment with the actual sizes and the resulting fits.

Check the following pages for simular tolerance information on limits and fits:

/international_tol.htm

/general_tolerances.htm

Hope this helps!
