clearance calculation Question

i doin a project on clearance on forming, blanking, punching, piercing on stamping process. I a outsider on engineering manufacturing...so i gotta do research abt it and is so confusing and hard to find the forumla for clearance.

any kind soul can tell mi the clearance formula for these process?

Clearance between mating parts (if this is what you are reffering to) is typically determined by limits and fit standards. There may be a formula however, I am not aware of any.

ermm...i mean the clearance...for stamping u nid to hav some space between the hole and the tool rite...if i not wrong
