I'm looking for information on Morse Taper 1 for shank and socket, is there any change required between these in dimensions? This may be for getting better fitment and also disengagement.

The information you need is provided in the Machinery's Handbook.
Anyone performing a job using a moris taper should purchase one for themselves, (wink). This book is the final statement in most things machine shop wise. Note: this is not an advertisement, I make no money from them, but could not function without the book around my home and work office.
