I am currently building a lightweight open web steel truss for testing, using only 1" shs as the main top chord (three chord system). The clear span (arched) is anticipated to cover 112 ft. and has already ondergone field testing over 20 ft with some very encouraging results.
I believe I have solved a major buckling problem which relates to vertical sway in trusses, bridges and lateral sway in towers/masts.
If anyone here with computer model skills is interested in working with me on the project, I would like to hear from you... Full explanations, drawings, photos etc'

Regards,
Davo
