Need help desining engines Question

hey guys,

i wanna design an engine using only my pc.

can u guys tell me which software i can or should use? i am just starting off.

so a little basic stuff in the beginning will help.

i heard about a software called DesktopDyno or something like that. how good is it? which softwares do u guys use?

any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, ok you want to design an engines, but what do you want to do with the software, Assemblies, drafting, calculating FEA, doing movement simulation? How much do you want to spend? You need to ask yourself those question because there is a lot of software out there that can do different task.

hi,
actually i want to design engines...completely with the software.i dont want to use any paper!!
the design,assembly,drafting, simulation....everything on the pc. also i just started or rather will start. so if u can lead me to any good resources for engine designing, i will be very greatful to u.

by the way, my name's Prithvi Krishna Mandava. am 21yrs old, doing my graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.i live in Bangalore, India. what about u?
