Just like John said, be very careful, CMM does not always consider MMC for the datum unless you add a rutine to calculate it and add the extra tol. I once had a situation in which one piece did OK on the inspection fixture but rejected on CMM, the problem was that CMM was not considering the extra tol given by the MMC of the datums.
