Hi,
I would like to suggest you borrow or purchase a
copy of "The Mechinery Handbook". This book is the
'bible' of such things and has a wealth of information
that no engineer can hardly be without. In it you
will find pages of how to figure your thread stress
, ISO data, bolts, dies, sheets, punches, welds,
the list goes on and on. I use it daily and it
never leaves being on top of the pile on my desk.
This book is up-dated often and will cost you a few
bucks, but will be the most required asset on your
desk. I'm trying to push the book, it is just a
necessary item to own, and makes our jobs easier.
I'm sure you can purchase it at any online book house.
