Hi!
Can anyone here give me some properties of the material Kevlar?
I need info like:
- Young's modulus
- Poisson's ratio
- Mass density
- Yield stress
I need to be able to describe its mechanical, chemical, electrical, optical and other properties. If anyone has info that can help me with that it'll be GREAT. I've been searching the net for stuff like that but to no success (not much).
Also, what material can replace Kevlar? Especially for the type used in the International Space Station (to protect it from meteorites).
Sorry that sounds a lot to ask, but any information on Kevlar (other than the molecular structure... because I've found stuff on that) would be MUCH appreciated.
Thanks.
