New Simplified Design of Low-Voltage Switchgear

Plainville, CT - new low-voltage switchgear solution for the 208-600 volts, and 800-5,000 amperes is offered by GE Consumer & Industrial.isys'.

This new advanced protection system includes industry's first cost-effective implementation of bus differential (ANSI 87B) on low-voltage switchgear. The bus differential provides a true zone-based protection that detects faults that range from less than the bus rating to the full short circuit rating of the equipment. This system, built by Entellisys, does this in minimum time and clears faults faster; it is 100-percent selective all of the time.
