The SECO/WARWICK Universal HPQ offers a vast array of heat treatment possibilities including low pressure vacuum carburizing with high pressure (up to 15 bar abs) gas quenching. Accelerated, uniform quenching with convection heating will make it possible to heat treat carbon and alloy steels (4140, 4340, 52100, O1) along with martensitic, austenitic and precipitation hardening stainless steels. Parts will be bright and clean with less distortion versus conventional oil quenching. Meeting NADCA requirement for H-13, and heat treating other tool and die materials for their optimum properties will be easily accomplished.
