Transmagic Introduces New 3D Viewing Software

Denver, Colorado, October 21, 2004 - TransMagic, Inc., makers of innovative and affordable 3D CAD
translation software, announced the release of a new, specialized 3D CAD viewing product. TransMagic
View uses the same powerful engine as in TransMagic's popular 3D CAD translation applications.

TransMagic View offers a wide range of visualization features plus access to accurate mass properties
information. Supported file types include CATIA V4, Unigraphics, Pro/Engineer, ACIS, Parasolid, STEP,
IGES, STL, HSF and optional CATIA V5. With TransMagic View, manufacturing professionals can quickly calculate part volumes and measure features or bounding box size to prepare job quotes. Other capabilities include section views, surface area calculation, redline, wire-frame, hidden-line or shaded views.

Special features added to TransMagic View can help reduce manufacturing errors by enhancing communication between customers, vendors or different departments. These capabilities include powerful real-time internet collaboration tools and the ability to save 3D models as 3D HTML files that can be emailed and opened in any Internet Browser.

"TransMagic lets me share 3D models with our locations that do not have CAD software," commented Paul Parsons of BRC Rubber and Plastics, Inc. "This has improved communications and saved time on preparing job quotes and solving manufacturing issues. This capability has eliminated many communication problems between our design and build teams."

"We hear many horror stories about tool and mold makers spending days reworking a CAD file just so
they can quote a job," remarked Todd Reade, president of TransMagic, Inc. "Companies who quote jobs faster are more competitive and have more opportunities to win business and open new markets. That's why we developed TransMagic View with the tools necessary to make job quotes fast, easy and cost effective."
