does the GD&T Straightness also cover drift if the diameter symbol is used? Can't seem to find a clear answer to this in the GD&T book.

I don't care about the shape of the hole but don't want it to walk more than .002 per inch.

Sure would appreciate your help on this.

Yes Ma'am, the diameter symbol is optional for a straightness specification on a diameter.
