First, Thermanit is a company and their Nicro 82 electrode is just a product. That electrode consumable is classified as EN ISO 18274, or AWS A 5.14 and the materials number 2.4806. It is a Nickel based alloy used on Cr and CrNi steels and cast. What you need is a materials that meets the ISO or AWS classification for the base materials you are welding. Do you have access to a welding engineer? |
