pressure test

Dear all,

We want to do the pressure test to the couple-rs in our company.
The couple-rs is pipe like component with both ends having different internal diameters.
I am placing the job on the rigid base[lager ID] and clamping from top[hydraulic].
So I calculated the force exerted only at smaller Id to clamp the job.
My doubt is
Should I calculate force on both sides to find the clamping force?
