I’ve attached a picture
Hi I’m trying to find a gear 26t 49mm O/D
I’ve attached a picture
I’ve tried the 3 different companies, plus I’ve spent hours looking on the internet with no luck!! Any help would be appreciated.
Have you identified whether it's metric or imperial (inch) standard?
I doubt it's an off-the-shelf gear.
Probably need to find somebody that can reproduce it from what you have
Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.
This is the switch
No I haven’t, how would I go about this?
I agree with Kelly. I don't think its an off-the-shelf gear. From the photo it looks like it is custom made for that particular product. You could try the switch manufacturer, or whoever owns them now.
The switch and motor manufacturers are the same people. It’s a basic setup with a gear from the motor driving an intermediate gear which drives the switch all the same o/d. I’ve taken a picture of the maker mark.
I've had to make something like this a few times recently.
It looks like the gear has 26 teeth; a fairly normal configuration.
The only other thing a machinist would need to know is the diameter.
Then I'd go to Boston Gear website, and find the one that is closest to the bore diameter / hub configuration, and modify that to fit.
A fairly simple job really. (uumm... if you have the proper tools )
Went back and read the original post.
(should've done that first).
26t and about 1 15/16" OD.
That doesn't seem difficult to find.
Just have to modify (probably) the hub/bore to fit your application.
Good luck in finding. It happens so often with me, as soon as a certain thing is needed, then it is nowhere to be found.Recently, I needed a linear actuator to automatically close the door and barely found a website where I could order exactly the one I needed. But I spent 3 days looking
Hi
I'm new in this forum but it seems to me you cannot find an off-the-shelf part why you don't use planetary gear for reducing the numbers of turn? Enable GingerCannot connect to Ginger Check your internet connection
