Fixed End Connection Design for Purlin System

Dear All,

Would need yours help as i am working with a roof support design with purlin system. Below is the info:

C-Lipped Purlin Size = 150(h) x 50(w) x 15(lip) x 1.6mm Thick
Span of the Purlin = 7 meters
Spacing between Purlin = 1 meter
Dead Load = 0.33kpa
Live Load = 0.75 kpa
Wind Load = 0.50 kpa
Connection type: Fixed End with 1 row of sag rod at midspan

Do anyone can do the design calculation?

First, I would check local building construction codes. Often, they will provided pre-engineered solutions guidelines for roofs and associated structures.

This may be simpler than you think (applying code)..
