Hello, can there be different tolerances for various ranges of dimensions in closed die forging under any standards that US follows.
Secondly, how does the tolerance change when making the same part from a ring rolling route from a press route?

Yes, ASME Y14.5-2009, ASME Y14.5M-1994 and the new ASME Y14.5-2018 has method to define a non-uniform profile of surface.
