Hi all,

Been in inspection for the past 6 years and this is a new one on me.
I have a drawing which states tolerances to one & two decimal places, yet all the drawing dimensions are at 3 decimal places.
What tolerance do i give the dimensions given?

Tolerances given:
One dec. +- .04
Two dec. +- .01.

You need to contact the drawing creator and get, in writing the expected tolerances.

If the drawing creator is not available use the next available tolerance which would be +-.01.
