Need help with interpreting a engineering material question

The properties of materials are classified as:

    Mechanical

    Physical

    Thermal

    Electrical

    Magnetic

For each category, pick two specific properties, describe them and say why they are of interest to a design engineer.

From each category pick one specific property and state its application in an engineering context.

Guidance: When answering the question think what is about the property that makes it useful? Where possible link the choices to your work. If this is not possible you may use examples of domestic applications.

    Does that mean for

Metal, Polymers, Ceramic, Composites, Smart materials

Pick two properties Mechanical, Physical, Thermal, Electrical, Magnetic

    E.g. -

Metal – talk about the mechanical and electrical properties

    Thank you
