Hi everyone, i am new to this but hopefully it will prove to be a useful resource of information and i will be visiting lots over the next year, i have been allocated a dissertation project "Shallow Water Flow" which i know next to nothing about at the moment, we have a tutor to talk to but he is very busy and i only have 1 hour a week to sort any problems.

the project needs me to model the effects of a dam breaking in order to derive the Shallow water Equations, i Was hoping someone could give information of steps they may do in-order to achieve the final goal, and perhaps list a few books or resource that they may have used and find helpful, thanks in advance Kyle
