The question I have is for a drawing that is 20 years old in the feature control frames it is called out for RFS and MMC on different datum's. So the question is, is this allowed.

Just to be clear, this would allow MMC to one datum and only RFS to another? I know this seems simple but there has been much debate on this with a supplier I have.

Absolutely, yes. There are explicit examples within the ASME, ANSI and ISO dimensioning and tolerancing standards as well as all of my GD&T reference and training books.

Be aware that your question is very general in nature... It is very possible to have datums specified at RFS and MMC within the same FCF that are functionally incorrect.
