Quick question about ISO tolerances (H7)

    Hello.
    I have this small issue.
Will a 12 mm H7 hole fit with a 12 mm h7 shaft? To a degree where it is possible to mount by hand?
Most places I see tolerances specified like H7/h6.

    Thank you beforehand

    I assume you are referring ISO 286-1 & 2?

    H7 tolerance for hole is +0 / - 0,018 mm

    h7 tolerance for shaft is +0,018 / -0 mm

    Mount by hand? Probably not...

    What is the application?

That's what I am reffering to.
    Yeah, I thought so.
It is the shaft of a motor that has to fit into a pulley, unfortunately the tolerances are H7 and h7.

    Edit:
I am also not interested in backlash of any kind, since I need to be able to control the setup with a precision of +/- 0,2 mm
