Runout tolerance measuring device

HI EVERYONE
I AM A STUDENT OF BE-MANUFACTURING

I HAVE A PROJECT, WHICH I HAVE TO MAKE A DEVICE THAT CAN MEASURE RUN-OUT TOLERANCE UP TO 0.1mm,
A SIMPLE DEVICE, HAVING A DIAL GAGE, OR DIAL INDICATOR.

i actually don't know where to start, and the process.

NEED HELP IN THIS REGARD
