I am new to this forum.
I have tried searching for the answer to my question but cannot find an answer.
I have a load that will be supported on four steel tube legs.
What I am trying to find is, how I can calculate how much load the legs (individually and together) can support.
A very simple thing, but I just cannot find any answers.
At the moment there will be four legs in cold drawn seamless steel tube, 120mm diameter, 5mm wall thickness, 600mm long and the foot of each will be a 200mm square steel plate 5mm thick.
The load is 1760kgs.
Now I know these legs are more than strong enough for the load, but for my work I have to prove that in the good old paperwork way.
Can anyone help??
