I need to find a mathematical model of the mechanical movement of the lower
picture. The system consists of a disk with moment of inertia I, which rotates in the direction
opposite the direction of movement of arrows (counterclockwise). Through the spring
stiffness coefficient K, the disk is attached with a weight mass m, whose linear motion
in the direction of the positive y axis. The movement of the weight is determined in terms of
equilibrium condition.
After
The pattern of the observed mechanical system to compile
in the state space.

Or help where can I find this task, or some similar? I think is a MIT assignment homework for modeling dynamic systems.
Thanks
