Counter-balance weight calcualtion

As opposed to conducting a practical experiment, can anyone help me with calculating the counterbalance weight required to make a frame lift evenly?

I have a frame, 18metres long x 2metres wide weighing 5 tonnes - when it is lifted using a 4 point lifting beam on designated lifting points, it lifts approxiamately 15 degrees out of balance. Is there a calculation for determining the counterweight that needs to be added at one end to rebalance the load?

Can you calculate the position of the center of gravity? If you can all you have to do is add enough weight off center to move the CG directly under your hook. There might be some handy-dandy calculators on this website for that purpose. Kelly is very good at pointing them out.

Dropping a plumb bob from the hook will point at the CG. Not an experiment, but practical.
