    Gear Motors

I know nothing about electrical motors, and what I need to know is how much power in watts it will take to run this gear motor at near maximum load, and also if it can run continuously 24/7 at 1000ft/lbs torque and 50 rpm becuase what I need to accomplish requires a motor that runs 24/7 at 1000ft/lbs torque and 50 rpm.

Quite simply, you need to search industry for a gear motor rated at "1000ft/lbs torque and 50 rpm". I would search for "High Torque" gear motors as an alternative.
