    Lifting Table

    Hello,

    We are making a lifting table with double (vertical) scissors
    But we have some questions about it :
    1) Should we use one or two hydraulic cylinders what are the benefits of one and what are the benefits of two cylinders
    2) Do we need to do something special to place the hydraulic cylinder. Should it be placed under a specific angle?

    Welcome to EE!

    I would design using the least number of hydraulic actuators. For a safety lock, you could use a manually inserted shear pin to hold elevation lock.
