    Hello, all
    It takes your advice.
I must install the equipment. In the workshop can be attached only to the columns. The size of 500x500. Drilled to a depth of 50 possible? The design of fear will weaken ....

So, you have a 500 mm x 500 mm column and you want to drill 50 mm deep holes into it? Fair enough.

What kind of column? Is it reinforced concrete or a steel column with a concrete overcoat? If it's the latter, it'll be wise to check if you have 50 mm cover to play with; if it's the former, then as long as you're not planning to completely pepper it with holes and there is little to no chance of any liquid penetration then it shouldn't be a problem.

Depending on the weight of the equipment, you'll need to check the pull out on the bolts because 50 mm minus the thickness of whatever will be supporting the equipment is not giving you a lot of bite.

    In summary:-
    What is the column construction?
What sort of equipment weight? Is it a couple of screwdrivers or a 35T piling rig?
What is the method of support?

    Good luck.
